Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2025
PaperDot Games (“PaperDot”, “we”) runs pen-and-paper style games at paperdot.games. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Google sign-in — If you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive your Google account ID, email address, and display name from Google. We use these to identify your account and show your name in games.
- Guest play — You may play without Google. We store a temporary anonymous account and a display name you enter locally in your browser.
- Game data — Active games, scores, player names, and colours are stored so multiplayer sessions work.
How we use it
We use this information only to run the site: sign-in, matchmaking, game state, and your profile/history page. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where data is stored
Account and game data are stored with Supabase (hosted infrastructure). Google handles authentication when you sign in with Google; see Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can play as a guest, sign out at any time, or contact us to ask about data linked to your Google account.
